What Volunteering Can Do For You!

Volunteers can be found at the heart of most nonprofit organizations! Many programs are made possible because of the dedication of the volunteers. Often times, organizations focus on advertising how much our programs thrive because of this commitment and hard work. This is true! CLC would not be where it is today without our volunteers all these years. However, we often times forget to talk about the amazing things that happen for our volunteers because of their work!

Here are a few ways volunteering with CLC can impact your life:

  • Make a difference. You can help people set goals and celebrate with them as they reach their fullest potential!

  • Meet people. At CLC we work with people from all over the world coming from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

  • Learn new skills. Not only will you learn how to be effective in a one-on-one tutoring session or classroom, but you will also have the opportunity to learn from our students.

  • Have fun!

We are a volunteer-driven organization and always in need of enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to become volunteers. If you are interested, CLC will prepare you for service by enrolling you in our training program, LEAD. The LEAD course equips volunteers to work in different capacities that best match their interest and skillset.

So, what are you waiting for?
