Building on the success of our 2025 summer program, youth at our Chantry Drive sites engaged in structured career exploration, earned industry-recognized credentials, and participated in supervised paid work-based learning experiences.
The young leaders featured above represent what happens when opportunity is paired with guidance and real-world exposure. Through mentorship, hands-on projects, and workforce labs, they built confidence, developed practical skills, and gained a clearer sense of direction for their future. Their growth reflects the meaningful progress that can happen in just one focused summer.
For Summer 2026, Future Ready will expand enrollment and paid work-based learning opportunities while continuing to provide:
Academic enrichment and STEM learning
Industry-recognized credential pathways (RISE Up, CompTIA ITF+, CMfgA)
Financial literacy and leadership development
Supervised paid work-based learning for eligible youth ages 14–18
Resume building, mock interviews, and professional headshots
Trauma-informed, structured mentorship and daily supervision
CLC has over 56 years of experience delivering education and workforce programming in Columbus and over 20 years of youth programming expertise. Our structured approach integrates academic growth, workplace competencies, and career-connected learning to prepare youth for long-term success.
